1. Scope and Our Role
Web Studios LLC ("Web Studios," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information through webstudios.tech (the "Site"), our direct business communications, and the website and restaurant-platform services we provide (the "Services").
For Site visitors, prospective clients, and our direct business contacts, Web Studios determines how and why personal information is used. When a restaurant client uses our platform to receive orders or manage its customers, that restaurant generally controls the customer relationship and Web Studios processes the information on the restaurant's behalf to provide the Services. Restaurant customers should review the restaurant's own privacy notice and direct privacy requests to that restaurant first.
This Policy does not replace a restaurant client's own customer privacy notice, terms, refund policy, or legally required consent.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact and business information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, restaurant or company, job role, scheduling details, and messages you send by email, phone, text, calendar booking, or another direct channel.
- Project information and content, such as menus, pricing, tax settings, hours, policies, branding, photographs, domain details, requested features, approvals, and support communications.
- Account and security information, such as user identifiers, access roles, authentication records, and activity needed to administer and secure a client platform.
- Billing and transaction information, such as plan, invoice, payment status, and business billing details. Our payment provider processes payment credentials; Web Studios does not need to store full payment-card numbers.
- Restaurant-platform information, which may include a restaurant customer's name, email, Google account profile details used for sign-in, phone number, text-message consent record, order items, customizations, pickup details, kitchen notes, totals, order history, Stripe payment reference and status, and communications about the order. Passwords are stored in hashed form when password-based accounts are offered.
- Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages requested, timestamps, diagnostic logs, cookie data, and security events.
Please do not place sensitive personal information in project messages, support requests, or free-text order notes unless it is necessary for the request or order.
3. Sources of Information
We collect information directly from you; from restaurant clients, their staff, and their customers; automatically from devices and server logs; and from providers used at your direction, such as Stripe, Google, Telnyx, a domain registrar, or a scheduling service. We may also receive ordinary business information from referrals or publicly available sources.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries, schedule meetings, prepare proposals, and manage client relationships;
- design, build, host, maintain, support, personalize, and secure the Site and Services;
- create accounts, authenticate users, receive and route restaurant orders, and display order history;
- connect transactions to Stripe and deliver permitted order updates through Telnyx;
- provide dashboards, operational reporting, and restaurant-level customer, order, and revenue analytics;
- invoice clients, administer memberships, and maintain business and tax records;
- detect misuse, investigate security events, debug errors, and protect our clients, users, and Services;
- comply with law, enforce agreements, establish or defend legal claims, and respond to lawful requests; and
- create aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.
When we maintain deidentified information, we will not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted by law to test our deidentification methods.
5. When We Disclose Information
We may disclose information:
- To the relevant restaurant client so it can accept, fulfill, support, analyze, refund, and keep records of its customer orders.
- To service providers that help us operate, including cloud hosting and database providers, email and scheduling tools, domain providers, professional advisers, and customer-support or security providers.
- To integrated providers at the direction of us or a restaurant client, including Stripe for payments, Telnyx for text-message delivery, and Google for services such as sign-in and appointment scheduling.
- For legal or safety reasons when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the integrity of the Services.
- In a business transaction involving a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
- With your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide those details to messaging providers only as needed to deliver and support requested messages.
6. SMS / Text Messaging
If you provide your mobile number and consent to texts from Web Studios, we may send messages related to your inquiry, meeting, project, account, billing, or Services. Consent to promotional messages is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency varies according to your request or project.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Each restaurant platform receives a dedicated local Telnyx number for transactional customer updates, such as an order-status or ready-for-pickup message. The restaurant controls those messages and its customer relationship; Web Studios and Telnyx process the phone number, consent record, order reference, and message-delivery information to provide the feature. A restaurant customer may reply STOP or contact the restaurant to withdraw consent. SMS usage, registration, and carrier fees are generally included in the restaurant's membership but may be charged separately as described in the restaurant's agreement.
7. Payments
Stripe processes payment credentials for restaurant customer orders and may process Web Studios invoices when enabled. Stripe may collect information directly under its own privacy policy. Web Studios and restaurant clients may receive transaction identifiers, amount, status, contact information, and limited fraud or payment metadata, but the platform is not designed to store full card numbers or card security codes.
8. Cookies, Logs, and Embedded Services
The Site and Services may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies for authentication, carts, preferences, security, diagnostics, and basic operation. Servers also create ordinary request and error logs. Embedded services—such as the Google appointment scheduler on our Contact page—may collect device and usage information or set their own cookies under their policies. You can control cookies through your browser, but blocking necessary storage may prevent accounts, carts, scheduling, or other features from working correctly.
Because there is no uniform industry standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, the Site may not respond to them. We honor legally required privacy preference signals where applicable.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining transaction and consent records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, meeting legal and tax obligations, and protecting security. Retention periods vary by the type of data, contract requirements, the restaurant client's instructions, and applicable law. Information may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups cycle out. We delete or deidentify data when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to lawful exceptions.
10. Security and Incident Response
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information we handle, including access controls and service providers intended to protect payment and account data. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we discover a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate, take reasonable mitigation steps, and provide legally required notices.
11. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on your residence and the law that applies, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to opt out of certain uses; or to appeal a denied request. We do not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
To submit a request about information Web Studios controls, email juan@webstudios.tech with the subject "Privacy Request." Describe the request and the email address or phone number connected with your information. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may request proof of authorization. If we deny a request and the applicable law provides an appeal right, reply to our decision with "Privacy Appeal."
If your request concerns an order or account on a restaurant client's website, contact that restaurant first. When appropriate, we will assist the restaurant in responding or route your request to it. We may retain information that applicable law allows or requires us to keep.
12. Children's Privacy
The Site and Services are not directed to children under 13, and Web Studios does not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required. Parents or guardians should supervise any restaurant order placed by a minor.
13. United States Processing
Web Studios is based in the United States, and we and our providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate. Those locations may have different data protection laws than your location. Where required, we use an appropriate legal mechanism for a cross-border transfer.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices, Services, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised Policy here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide any additional notice or choice required by law or a Client Agreement.
